FAMILY CLASS
- A primary goal of Canada’s immigration law is to reunite families in Canada.
- Family Class is based on relationship to a Canadian sponsor.

- Requires a job offer with Labour Market Impact Assessment OR a provincial certificate of qualification in your trade
- Two years journeyman experience is needed in the trade
- Minimum levels of English or French are required
Approved Trade Groups:
- Major Group 72, industrial, electrical and construction trades,
- Major Group 73, maintenance and equipment operation trades,
- Major Group 82, supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production,
- Major Group 92, processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators,
- Minor Group 632, chefs and cooks, and
- Minor Group 633, butchers and bakers.

PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAMS
- While immigration is a matter controlled by the federal government, the provinces of Canada have great interest in who is immigrating to each province
- There are twelve programs in total – each with different stream and requirements
- Most require a job offer or other close connection to that province such as studying, investing or operating a business there
- We are experts on the Ontario Provincial Nomination Program and can fully advise you on the various streams available.
ONTARIO PROVINCIAL NOMINATION
Here is a brief summary of the programs currently available in Ontario.
Up to 5000 nominations will be used in 2015 across all streams.
Foreign Worker Stream:
- Requires two years of work in the occupation
- Position offered permanently by qualifying Ontario employer
- Can be working in Ontario now, or outside of Canada
Graduate With Job Offer:
- Recent graduate from qualifying Ontario educational program
- Position offered permanently by qualifying Ontario employer
Ontario Masters Graduate:
- Recent graduate from qualifying Ontario Masters program
- No offer of employment needed
- Must meet minimum language, savings and other requirements
Ontario Ph.D. Graduate:
- Recent Ph.D. graduate from qualifying Ontario program

Ontario Investor Program:
- Substantial investment of $3 Million required
- Intended to create jobs for Canadians
- Many requirements, including endorsement from high ranking officials
